A call to action:
Ladies, if any of you are activist oriented in any way, I would love for you to join the "Mermaids 4" campaign/ WhatsApp group. It's a simple idea to stay aware of some important ocean news that we ask you to share on occasion. If you are already down to be part of the Mermaids 4 group. JOIN HERE.
Mermaids 4 is a campaign of a project I co-created with Kaytibunny called Permaculture Pinup. It's sex appeal (cheeky media) for regeneration not the war machine. We seek to educate, in a playful way, about “Bees (think gardening), Trees, and Seas”.

Now, the Reason for this letter/ update
It’s been a second since Envision. I wanted to provide a short intro and update.
Short Intro
My life has been directed by my spiritual path since about 2002. This led me to create a comic character called Raver J then to yoga and tantra starting in 2006. As part of my karma yoga, I started a nonprofit in 2007 called Green Wave. Apparently, and thanks to Kaytibunny and my hubby, 2022 started my imMersion ;) It was such a pleasure to spend Envision days transforming into the Salty Sirens for beach and stage with you all. Green Wave
The nonprofit I founded and still run is called Green Wave. We assist several environmentally minded or ecological projects in Costa Rica and have created some of our own fun projects and campaigns as mentioned above.
Joining the Mermaids4 activist group
As I said before, we would love for you to join. I know Hannah said she would. Find out more about the campaign here and of course feel free to DM me with any questions.
We currently have two action items we could use help with. Sharing the work of the Modoc, the ship for Earthrace Conservation, and also the "Rebrand Bikini" campaign. I love inspiring people into action so I'm always happy to jump on the phone.
Rebrand Bikini
July 1st is the anniversary of the first nuclear explosion in the BIkini Atoll (where the 2 piece, got it's name). It’s a bomb of a history that one that I think anyone that has ever worn a bikini should know about. Find out more here.
Today Green Wave/ Permaculture Pinup filled out an application with National Day Calendar for a remembrance day to honor the people of Bikini.
Cute little side note - I had a friend reach out today suggesting we rebrand the bikini as the "swimming two peace" :) What do you think?!

I also just completed my Mer Instructor training for PADI with Jewels Diver in Cozumel. However, my full time homes is the West Coast side of Costa Rica on the Nicoya Peninsula close to Santa Teresa and Montezuma. I will be able to certify mermaids under PADI and I will be working to establish more merculture in the area down here. Let me know if you are ever in this neck of la selva (the jungle).
